Pioneer - Building databases through marketing automation

Pioneer’s main goal was to build the database for the Car and DJ products. These products are separate businesses, so the marketing has been segmented accordingly to target them with special offers and services such as registering a product for software updates. As a global company Pioneer wanted to be up to date with best practice around responsible marketing and spam compliance to inform the types of marketing communications they can send. The TractionNext platform was used to build the database for the Car and DJ products. Traction built three sign up forms (Car, DJ and a web sign up form to register products). The Car and DJ forms trigger welcome emails. Additionally, Ovato Technology ran a best practice workshop around responsible marketing and spam compliance to inform the types of marketing communications they can send.

Civic - Increasing Engagement by 132%

Ovato Technology managed the transition and upgrade to next generation marketing automation platform TractionNext and continue to provide agency services, management and distribution of email campaigns for Civic. A more digitally focused communication strategy enabled Civic to activate AB testing to monitor and determine the best email subject lines and send times, this alone increased email open rates by more than 73% on average. Introduction of the new technology accelerated engagement through relevant promotions and flexible bar code redemption, with active customers increasing by more than 132%. Centralised data collected with daily data syncs to stores provided a holistic insight into what offers are attractive to customers. This data is then shared with the franchises to prove campaign ROI resulting in more franchises adopting campaign initiatives.

Meritus Hotels & Resorts - Booking Luxury

Working with Traction Digital, Meritus integrated Adobe Campaign with its Opera booking system to create a single, central location to manage all customer data. Working with data in one location allows Meritus to build a more complete view of each customer’s interactions with Meritus properties, such as noting preferences of customers who have stayed at more than one property. At the same time, segmentation rules allow marketers to use a single interface to easily view data for each individual hotel and create, send, and manage email campaigns that drive greater bookings. Using the responsive html templates designed by Traction Digital, marketers can reach customers with messages that are viewable across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices- an essential detail with growing mobile usage in Asia.

Bundaberg - Saves $250k with dynamic email content

To assist the town of Bundaberg recover from the recent flooding that took place early 2013, Diageo’s creative agency launches the “Road to Recovery” email campaign, which was launched to raise money and boost the tourism business in the town of Bundaberg. Thanks to the Ovato Technology team’s specialist email capabilities, the campaign consisted of an extremely personalized email that went beyond a first name field to include a personalized map leading to Bundaberg Queensland. Each map was tailored to display directions based from where a subscriber was located. This email was to go out to the subscribers who lived in the most popular 14 towns/cities according to the address data we had from existing subscribers within the Bundaberg database.

Oxfam - Streamlining communications

Oxfam Australia assessed Ovato’s eCRM as the best overall fit to their needs from a pool of eight suppliers. The Ovato eCRM enabled Oxfam to substantially increase email volumes, while retaining strong brand management and good deliverability.

Tourism WA

Tourism WA is the State Government agency responsible for promoting Western Australia as an extraordinary holiday destination. Its focus is on marketing the State; developing, attracting and promoting major sporting, cultural and business events; and developing significant tourism infrastructure and projects. Ovato Technology worked with Tourism WA to digitize their marketing strategy by implementing data forms, segmented email campaigns and automated customer journeys.

MLA - Increase email engagement by 40%

Meat & Livestock Australia Limited (MLA) is an industry body delivering services for Australia’s cattle, sheep and goat producers. MLA creates opportunities for livestock supply chains from their combined investments to build demand and productivity. It also provides services, tools and information that create tangible benefits for livestock producers that flow back to the farm gate. MLA has over 47,500 livestock producer members who have stakeholder entitlements in the company to whom they communicate. Ovato Technology worked with them to create a single cohesive customer journey built on dynamic email content.

Dry July - Raising $10m with strong email strategy

Dry July partnered with Traction Digital on a pro-bono basis to help them develop and execute their email strategy given their need for expert support. The Ovato eCRM was selected as the relevant platform to use based on the planned strategy and requirements. It was vital to ensure that Dry July’s platform usage was driven by the right strategy, and not by the platform features.

Nick's - Streamlining and automating booking

Nick’s Waterfront Dining is a Sydney Dining institution which opened its doors in 1998. Nick’s is now represented by seven vibrant waterfront restaurants in Sydney focusing on the philosophy of simplicity and quality of product. With seven restaurants, Nick’s Waterfront Dining was struggling to have a single view of its diners in one central location which was making it extremely difficult to provide streamlined communications from booking confirmation through to post dining surveys. Ovato Technology’s solution of a trigger based and transactional email process has led to Nick’s Seafood to acquire 22,000 new recipients to their database over a period of two years – without any hassle, as once the integration was set up, the system process took care of the rest.

LexisNexis - RSS to email

LexisNexis unites web technologies and premium information outlets to give users access to billions of searchable documents and records from more than 45,000 sources. They also apply analytics to help their users see patterns, connect ideas and find answers that make their jobs easier. Their risk solutions help professionals verify identity, prevent fraud, comply with legislation, facilitate and secure commerce and support law enforcement and homeland security initiatives.

Ovato Technology’s expert staff worked with Lexis Nexis to provide an automated solution driven by RSS feeds directly from the Lexis Nexis website. The recipients’ profiles can be modified through a password protected Lexis Nexis legal express site which, when modified, are updated in the Ovato eCRM platform via an API. This enabled Lexis Nexis to fulfill their goals and provide the timely and relevant content directly from their existing website. The website is managed and updated daily by their content team.

Regenerate - Welcome Programme​

Ovato worked with Unilever – Regenerate to deliver their 8-step automated email journey, spanning over the course of 90 days, including the opportunity to receive a free Regenerate Tooth Serum sample. Regenerate are one of new brands under Unilever that provide products for dental care inspired by bone repair technology, as a result they decided to work with Ovato to build a strong and loyal customer base.  We worked with Regenerate to create their email designs, capture contact data,  automate email delivery and fulfil sample delivery.

Vue - Modernizing digital strategy

Vue Entertainment (Vue) is a premium cinema chain who host both blockbusters and event cinema screenings such as Shakespeare/opera. They’re one of the biggest Cinema groups in Europe with over 85 cinemas in the UK and Ireland and 800 plus screens.

The client was looking to re-invent their digital image and strategy by working with us to build new email designs, integrate existing data capture elements and build new promotions/competitions.
